Formally sanctioned in early 2011, the West Chester University Student Veterans Group is a student-run organization designed to provide valuable resources, academic support, and camaraderie for student veterans. Membership is drawn from a diverse and constantly-evolving student populace who range from combat veterans of Operation Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom, to family members of veterans, as well as students who are simply interested in working directly with the veteran community. Non-profit and non-partisan in nature, the SVG directly focuses on the needs of veterans through utilization of the collective strength of our members' experiences and intellect. There is strength in our numbers: As our membership grows, so does our clout.
